This is the whole of the controller support: the pad is turned into key presses, and every game just sees a keyboard.
Nothing happening?
- Press a button first. Chrome hides controllers until you do.
- Check the cable. Many USB cables only carry power, not data. Try another one.
- Older Xbox One pad? If the plastic around the Xbox button is part of the top strip with the bumpers, it has no Bluetooth — it needs a cable.
- Turn your Xbox off. A console nearby will grab the controller back.
- Try Chrome. Its controller support is the most reliable.
